The Bottleshare Micro Grant Program provides emergency financial assistance to craft industry workers who have experienced extreme hardships outside of the workplace.
Bottleshare awards micro grants on a rolling basis each quarter as applications are received. Awards are granted to individuals on a need basis, up to $1,000.
In order to be eligible for a Bottleshare Micro Grant, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be officially employed by a registered business in the craft beverage industry, including breweries, wineries, distilleries, and cideries. Contracted / freelance workers are not eligible.
Have been employed at current job for at least one (1) year (waived during COVID crisis).
Work a minimum of thirty (30) hours / week (waived during COVID crisis).
Be facing an extreme hardship, which prevents them from working for at least two (2) months. An extreme hardship is described as a serious physical injury, illness, death or natural disaster.
Applicant is also eligible if the following criteria applies to a significant other / immediate family member who financially provides for the family.
Grant award funds may be used to pay for any personal expenses / debts,
including, but not limited to, the following everyday living expenses :
Rent / housing
Cable / phone / internet bills
Credit card debt
Child support / Alimony
General household expenses
How to apply for funding:
Step 2: Submission of full grant application
Each applicant may only submit one (1) proposal per quarter
Bottleshare is under no obligation to fund a proposal
Materials submitted will become the property of Bottleshare and not be returned.
Bottleshare will email applicants with notice of final decisions no later than the last day of each quarter.
