MobCraft Beer to host release party for 1st Edition of Believe in Beer to Benefit Relief Fund
MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN --- MobCraft Beer is hosting a release party for Believe In Beer, a fruited, barrel aged golden sour, on Saturday, July 11 from 12:00-3:00pm. The release will take the form of a socially distanced patio party and include the opportunity to meet and speak with Christopher Glenn, the founder of Bottleshare, live acoustic music from Patrick Van Bibber, signature pizza from Hidden Kitchen, and of course, lots of beer.
Bottleshare is a Georgia based fundraising nonprofit dedicated to the craft beverage community. Bottleshare and the Brewers Association created the Believe in Beer Relief Fund at the end of April to support craft breweries and state brewers guilds impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. MobCraft Beer is the first brewery to partner with Bottleshare brew a craft beer with proceeds donated to the fund.
Believe in Beer: Blending Barrels Edition was blended by MobCraft Director of Barrel Operations, Adam Thomas. With Thomas at the helm of MobCraft’s barrel aged program, the brewery has become known for their wild and sour beers, garnishing national accolades at the Great American Beer Festival® and Festival of Wood and Barrel Aged Beers. Believe in Beer: Blending Barrels Edition is a deep golden sour blended from four different oak barrel aged beers of various ages. The beer comes in at 6.5% and was refermented on Georgia peaches and Door County cherries, for a slightly funky, mildly tart finish. The peach is prominent in taste and body of the beer, whereas the cherry lends itself to the nose and color of the beer.
Believe in Beer: Blending Barrels Edition will be available on draught and in four packs (to go) starting at noon on Saturday, July 11. Believe in Beer can be preordered for local pick up at the taproom through Craft Cellr. For those not in the Milwaukee area, pre-order is also available for shipment to select states, and Brew Pipeline will distribute the beer across the country. Bars, restaurants, and breweries in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota who would like to order the beer can contact [email protected]. Bars, restaurants, and breweries in other parts of the country can order this beer through distributors that work with Brew Pipeline. Anyone interested in ordering the beer for a licensed account can request more information.
MobCraft recommends reservations for patio seating. Reservations can be made by calling 414-488-2019. MobCraft respectfully asks all patrons to wear a mask when ordering and when going inside to use the restrooms.
