RELIEF FUND.

Together with the Brewers Association, we have created a 'Believe in Beer' Relief Fund to directly support breweries and state guilds impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. The fund will be made available to breweries and guilds who require immediate financial assistance.

​Breweries and Guilds that require immediate assistance are encouraged to apply. Applications open Friday, April 24th and will close Sunday, May 17th. Please read through the application criteria and guidelines carefully before applying for the relief fund grant. GUILD ELIGIBILITY
All state-level guilds are eligible to apply. Funding will be distributed on a need basis, so please only apply if you require immediate support.

BREWERY ELIGIBILITY
All active US breweries with a TTB Brewers Notice are welcome to apply. Proof of this documentation is required to complete the application process. An active brewery is classified as currently selling beer OR selling beer prior to March 10th if currently closed due to the pandemic. They must produce the market definition of beer, in any amount, in order to qualify. BA membership is NOT required. Craft status is NOT required.

APPLICATION PROCESS
Breweries and Guilds will be required to complete Step 1 of the application process, which can be found here. They must meet the eligibility criteria before proceeding to Step 2. If an applicant is not eligible, Bottleshare will notify them via email. Eligible applicants will receive Step 2 of the application process via email. Applicants will be required to provide a W-9 form as well as their most recent financial statements.

GRANT FUND DETERMINATION, DISBURSEMENT, AND USAGE
Grant Fund determination will be made at the completion of the ‘Believe in Beer’ Relief Fund Campaign. Funds will be distributed on a sliding scale need basis for as long as they are available. Not all applicants will receive grant funds. We encourage you to apply only if you are in immediate need of support. Once applications are closed, Bottleshare will notify Grant Fund award recipients of their award amount and they will be required to sign and return a Grant Award Contract. Grant Funds will be disbursed by mid-June 2020. Grantees are required to use Grant Funds solely and exclusively for the material benefit of Grantee’s employees and business, such as payroll, rent, and utilities. Bottleshare reserves the right to request proof of Grant Fund expenditures.

ABOUT THE 'BELIEVE IN BEER' RELIEF FUND
The Brewers Association (BA)—the trade association representing small and independent American craft brewers—has partnered with Bottleshare—a fundraising nonprofit dedicated to the craft beverage industry—to create the Believe in Beer Fund to support breweries and guilds impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
